美術館やネットで、アフリカンマスクの写真集をいくつか購入し、よくマスクの写真を眺めています。その中から気に入ったマスクの絵を描いてみました。

左のマスクはコートジボワール、セヌフォ族のクペリエ、右のマスクはザンビア、Mbunda族のSachihongo Maskです。本のほとんどが洋書で、私は英語が読めない為、このマスク達の詳細がわからず、とてももどかしい思いをしています。
