毎年暮れに近づくと、木彫教室では絵馬の無料講習会が行われます。生徒はクラスの合間に各々の希望枚数を彫ります。というわけで、私も初めての手作り絵馬を彫りました。
When approaching the year end, free workshops of “ema” is done in wood carving classroom. Students carved the desired number of each in between class. That is why, I was also carved the first of handmade wooden plaque.
2013年は「巳年（みどし）」蛇ですね。彫る絵柄は３種類から選べるのですが、私はヘビがとぐろをまいている様子はちょっと苦手なので、獅子舞の絵柄を多く彫りました。
2013 It is “Mi year (Midoshi)” snake. Picture you carve it is able to choose from three types, but I so how is a little weak that snake is coiled, has carved many a picture of the lion dance.
最後に贈りたい方のお名前を彫ります。「功刀」これは両親へ渡す絵馬です。手作りの絵馬を彫りたい方は、お気軽に教室へお越しください。
